You have added great adjectives, verbs and emotion to jazz the sentences up! I like how you included detail to be specific with some nouns eg. tree = old oak
If you had started your writing with, "Look at the tree in the field", it wouldn't have grabbed my attention, BUT, by using the "jazzed up" sentence, you got me "hooked" straight away and I would want to continue reading on and on and on ...
